All of Sarah’s yarns are fantastic, but my favorite base is the wool/silk dk–a 85% Polwarth wool and 15% Tussah silk blend that is squishy and soft with a slight sheen to it. It has excellent stitch definition and takes dye beautifully. The best part is the gorgeous colorways Sarah creates with this yarn–usually tonal, but she has a few variegated colorways as well. Last year I added five skeins to my stash and over several posts I will share with you what I created with them.
My first project was the Houzuki Hat by Yoko Johnston in Razz. This was a great pattern (it’s a free Ravelry download) and the yarn was a perfect match.
