I started out writing about projects I’ve made with the Intrepid Tulips DK, the Polwarth/Silk blend, but I have made great projects with Sarah’s other yarns as well and today’s project was made with Intrepid Tulips Sock in Wine. The semi-solid shades of ITY Sock are so gorgeous. I used one skein to make this darling baby sweater (size 6-12 months on size 4 needles.) The pattern is Sunnyside by Tanis Lavallee, another free pattern. I have made twelve of these little sweaters now with various yarns, but I think this one is the prettiest. It’s such a fun pattern to knit. It is knit top down with raglan shaping and has no seaming. It’s a perfect pattern for ITY Sock in any of the semi-solid colorways and makes a wonderful baby gift.
