Socks at a Retreat

I knit the first sock of this pair at the Fiber Outlaws Spring Retreat a month ago. It was held in Roosevelt, Utah, so it was a bit of a drive, but worth it. The pattern is Socks on a Plane by Laura Linneman and is a free Ravelry download. It was a well-written pattern with a really easy heel.
The yarn is Intrepid Tulips Sock in Campfire–such a beautiful colorway! The richness and depth of color in Sarah’s colorways always blows me away. This is by far my favorite sock yarn, not only because the colors are so fantastic, but also because it wears so well. I don’t know how many pairs of socks I have made with this yarn, but I have yet to get a hole in any of them.
